You can download and install PageSnip now - free of charge. The download is a full working copy of PageSnip Professional Edition with no nag screens and no restrictions. You can use PageSnip absolutely free for 30 days. After that the software will stop working and you will not be able to access snips that you have gathered with it until you purchase a license. 

If you have filed snips (a feature of the Professional Edition only) and then decide to only purchase the Standard Edition of PageSnip, you will still be able to access your filed snips. However the Standard Edition does not allow you to file more than ten snips. 

Virus and Spyware Free

The installer for PageSnip “SetupPageSnip.exe” has been tested and found to be free of computer viruses, spyware.

Code Signed and Windows Vista Ready

Both the installer for PageSnip and the program itself have been Digital Code signed. Since the software is distributed through the Omega Marketing Group (a division of Omega Business Systems) it carries their digital signature.

If you obtain a copy of the SetupPageSnip.exe program from anywhere other than a direct download from our website you should right-click the installer and check the digital signature to be sure that it has not been altered. All executables in the PageSnip program folder would also carry the same digital signature.

PageSnip is a Windows Vista ready application. In addition to being code signed it also follows Microsoft guidelines for locations of data files, storage of settings, etc.

Note: We suggest that you do not run the installer from the Internet, but rather download and SAVE the file to your computer first. Then run the installer by double-clicking the SetupPageSnip.exe file in Windows Explorer from folder where you saved it.

If you have a slow Internet connection, we will have an option soon where you can purchase PageSnip on a CDROM. Then you can use the web update feature to keep it up to date.

Installer Errors:

If you download the installer and get a message when you attempt to run it asking you to “Please enter the disk labeled #1, press enter when ready.”, then you have a corrupt download and you will need to download the installer again. PageSnip uses a single file installer.
